1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Kapagiannidis Butcher website ("we", "us") processes data when you visit. The site is a simple, informational business website — it has no contact form, user accounts, shopping cart, or newsletter, and we do not knowingly collect data from you.

2. What data we process

  • Technical browsing data (server logs): Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details of each visit (IP address, browser/device type, date/time, page requested), as is standard for any website, for security and smooth operation. We do not combine this data with other information to identify you.
  • We do not collect: your name, email, address, payment details, or any other personal data through the website, since there is no form or data-submission mechanism.

3. Third-party services we use

  • Google Fonts — The site's fonts (Poppins, Work Sans) are loaded from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). When they load, your IP address is transmitted to Google.
  • Google Maps — The "Location" section of the homepage embeds an interactive Google Maps iframe. When it loads, Google may place cookies on your device and collect usage data, under its own policy.
  • Both services are provided by Google Ireland Limited. See Google's privacy policy.
  • CDN scripts (animations) — The animation libraries (GSAP, Lenis) load from cdnjs.cloudflare.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net, which may also log basic technical data (IP) when serving files, without user tracking.

4. Cookies

The website does not use its own tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party cookies (Google) may only be set when the embedded map loads, as described above. We do not use Google Analytics, the Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking tools.

5. Legal basis for processing

Processing of technical browsing data relies on our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in keeping the site secure and running smoothly. Embedding Google content (fonts, map) also serves our legitimate interest in providing a functional, fast, and user-friendly website.

6. Data retention

Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period, typically a few weeks, solely for security purposes. We do not ourselves retain any file of visitors' personal data.

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing, as well as the right to data portability, to the extent these apply to you. You can contact us using the details in section 8.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) if you believe our processing of your data breaches the GDPR.
